Arthur Vanetsyan denies tensed relations with AFF executive committee members

After being elected chairman of the Armenian Football Federation in 2018 I have stated that I am not coming here for long, ex-chairman of the AFF Arthur Vanetsyan told the reporters after AFF executive committee session today.

“I have stated that me as AFF chairman and members of the executive committee have come to heal the Armenian football, to create an atmosphere where it will be possible to conduct elections, elect new members of the committee and AFF chairman who will deal with the healing of football. What happened today is logical end of our statements,” Vanetsyan stated, adding that on December 23 they will have a regular gathering and will elect new chairman and executive committee.

Vanetsyan also stated that the relations with the executive committee members are not tensed, otherwise they would not have left the session all together and make joint statement.

“Let us not politicize. It is a personal matter of each person to make a statement, to deal with any activity. Here we have just discussed issues relating to football,” Vanetsyan said.

He also added that in near future he will not be nominated for the post of either member of the executive committee or AFF chairman.

“In this phase I will not have any relation to the Football Federation,” Vanetsyan said.
