6th department of Armenia's Police visit the house of ex-head of State Cadaster Committee Sarhat Petrosyan
Former head of the State Cadaster Committee Sarhat Petrosyan in an interview with newsarmenia.am stated that the officers of the 6th department of the Armenian police dealing with corruption crimes visited his house.
He said while making the statement he clearly realized that they can be disputed at court, that police officials may visit his house and disturb his and his family’s peace, which was done by the 6th department after the statement he made.
“I made this statement knowing all this, but my conviction is that we must speak about these issues,” Petrosyan said in the interview.
Asked what the 6th department was searching in their house, Petrosyan said, “One organization stated that my statement contains punitive features and consequently the police officials visited us. I was not at home but my children and other family members were stressed. But the important thing is that my friends, colleagues of different generations encourage me and I in my turn encourages my family. We all were stressed in 2018 and now too, but for having Armenia we all are dreaming of I am ready to pass through any trials, I am ready for it to reach the goals I want to register in my sector of activity. I have never thought for any moment that the processes launched in 2018 will turn down and we will bear corruption processes,” he said, stressing that he may ground each of his statement with facts.
