Armenia’s education, science, culture and sports ministry declares “100 Ideas for Armenia” youth contest but refuses to unveil sum allocated for its conduction
Armenia’s education, science, culture and sports ministry declares “100 Ideas for Armenia” youth contest for young people and creative groups of Armenia and Diaspora aged from 16-35.
Speaking to reporters today Gevorg Loretsyan said seventeen applications have been received already.
“The contest is being conducted since 2017 and is aimed at developing the innovative mind, at ensuring the engagement of the young people in the country’s social-economic life,” the deputy minister said.
He said in December the exhibition of the best innovative projects which passed the final rpund will be conducted in Yerevan after which session of the commission will be convened during which the projects of the participants will be assessed.
The deputy minister said the five winners of the contest will get encouraging prizes and certificates.
Loretsyan attached significance to the contest but refused to unveil the sum allocated from the state budget for its conduction.
“As of the moment I do not remember the exact number,” Loretsyan said.
