Kocharyan and other’s trial continues in tensed atmosphere: parties accuse each other of implementing political order
The trial of Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan and other former high-ranking officials continues in hot atmosphere with Yuri Khachaturov’s lawyer Mihran Poghosyan accusing prosecutor Karen Bisharyan of implementing political order.
“Mr Bisharyan either implemented political order or implements it now,” the lawyer said.
Other accusing prosecutor Petros Petrosyan responded to the accusations, stating that the lawyer has no right to make such labeling statements and give such qualifications to the prosecutor and in his turn accused Poghosyan of implementing political order.
“Prosecutor is being guided by the legislation and Constitution and implements his commitments,” Petrosyan said.
Judge Anna Danibekyan urged Mihran Poghosyan to speak correctly.
Poghosyan though kept on claiming that the criminal case is completely a political order.
“I request judicial sanction for disrespectful attitude,” prosecutor Petros Petrosyan said.
