Court hearing of lawsuit of ex-Republican lawmaker Khosrov Harutyunyan against lawmaker Arman Babajanyan launches
Court hearing of lawsuit submitted by former Republican party lawmaker Khosrov Harutyunyan against incumbent lawmaker Arman Babajanyan has launched today chaired by the judge Arshak Petrosyan.
Harutyunyan filed a lawsuit against the lawmaker after the later stated on April 18 that a number of former officials received licenses for governance of hydro power plants and water resources by the Public Services Regulatory Commission and named Harutyunyan as one of them.
In response Khosrov Harutyunyan filed a lawsuit against Babajanyan on May 17 demanding rejection of discrediting statement and compensation amounting to 2 million AMD.
Babajanyan’s lawyer Norayr Norikyan speaking at the hearing stated that Arman Babajanyan had no intention to discredit anyone.
Khosrov Harutyunyan is present at the hearing, while Arman Babajanyan is not.
