Armenia improves rating in British Legatum Prosperity Index: Armenia’s PM
Armenia has been ranked the 61st in the British analytical institute’s Legatum Prosperity Index, improving its position with 27 points, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on Facebook.
He stressed that Armenia left behind all the post-Soviet countries except Baltic countries and Georgia.
“Armenia has been ranked the 61st improving its position with 27 points as compared with the past year. From the regional countries Georgia has been ranked 53, Russia 74, Turkey 91, Azerbaijan 92 and Iran 119. The authors of the report compare the countries with 9 criteria – economic development level, business environment, state governance efficiency, education level, healthcare, security and personal freedom as well as with social capital and environment development criteria,” he wrote.
