CSTO countries must leave Azerbaijan’s orders for new weapons unanswered: Armenia’s PM
The CSTO has necessary levers to prevent the escalation over Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the CSTO Collective Security Council’s session in Bishkek.
The prime minister said to prevent the possible escalation and stemming from the security interests, the CSTO countries must leave the orders of Azerbaijani side to acquire new weapons unanswered.
“We are frank in our strive for peace and ready for constructive dialogue over the settlement of the conflict on the basis of the concept I have presented. We will continue negotiations in the sidelines of the only internationally recognized format of negotiations with the mediation of the OSCE Minsk group to which the CSTO has many times expressed its support. In this pre-context I want to express special gratitude to the Russian co-chairmanship of the Minsk group,” Pashinyan said.
