Alex & Holding company donates 3 KamAz trucks to Yerevan municipality

Yerevan mayor’s spokesperson Hakob Karapetyan published the list of organizations and persons who have donated trucks to the municipality.

The spokesperson said that sooner or later the names of donators would have been unveiled as the mayor was going to sum up the donations and prepared diplomas of gratitude to the people and organizations which demonstrated high social responsibility to present them on the New Year eve.

Karapetyan stressed that the decision to publish the names now is agreed with the speculations over the issue.

He said as far as the process of donation has not been completed yet, the names of some organizations will not be revealed until the contracts are signed.

“We want to reiterate that the Yerevan municipal authorities have adopted policy of promoting the principle of social responsibility institute of business which is internationally accepted practice. Yerevan mayor Hayk Marutyan invites al the entrepreneur compatriots both of Armenia and abroad contribute to the development of Yerevan,” Karapetyan reported.

He revealed 5 organizations among which were Alex & Holding company, known to belong to businessman Samvel Alexanyan, which donated three KamAz trucks to the municpality.

Among the donators is also Chinese embassy to Armenia which has donated one KamAz truck.

Earlier the mayor rejected the information that former MP, businessman Samvel Alexanyan donated trucks to the municipality.
