Armenia’s PM’s spouse Anna Hakobyan invites Mehriban Aliyeva to Artsakh, expresses readiness to visit Baku
Spouse of Armenia’s Prime Minister Anna Hakobyan speaking today at the UN Security Council Women, Peace and Security conference stated that she wants to invite Mehriban Aliyeva to Karabakh.
The response came to Aliyeva’s comment about her wish to listen mugam in Karabakh.
“She may be our guest, we know how to honor a guest, one of the rules is to honor guest with music, and we may ensure mugam to make her dream come true, for her to listen her beloved music in Karabakh,” Anna Hakobyan said.
She stressed that if Aliyeva accepts her invitation, she will be ready in her turn visit Baku.
“But if Mehriban Aliyeva means that their dream is to come to Karabakh with war and listen mugam, I may convince that this dream will remain unfulfilled. If they start war, probably new settlements will appear where listening mugam will become unfulfilled dream for them,” the PM’s spouse said.
Anna Hakobyan stressed that there is only one way to reach the dream – peace.
“These are good-neighborly relations with Artsakh and reciprocal visits as guests,” she said.
