Current authorities owe a lot to Serzh Sargsyan for being at the wheel of power now: Gevorg Petrosyan

Lawmaker from Prosperous Armenia faction Gevorg Petrosyan speaking about the charge against Armenia’s third president Serzh Sargsyan said that today’s authorities owe so much to him for being currently at the wheel of the power.

“There is one truth that the power was conceded without blood, this is why it is called velvet revolution. But I do not consider this revolution velvet as supposedly, after velvet revolution we should have had velvet society which respected one another. While today atmosphere of hostility dominates in the public,” the lawmaker said.

Gevorg Petrosyan said the change of this power as well will be without blood.

“I think neither of the authorities is eternal. We cannot exclude anything. We may have either regular or snap elections. The authorities must always remember why they have come and what promises they gave to the people,” he said.
