Armenian FM, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office emphasize necessity of peace-promoting steps in Karabakh conflict settlement process
Armenia's Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met on December 6 with OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Slovakian Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajčák on the sidelines of the 26th OSCE Ministerial Council in Bratislava, MFA press service reports.
Minister Mnatsakanyan congratulated his Slovakian counterpart on the successful OSCE Chairmanship.
The Armenian minister also presented the latest developments over the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The interlocutors attached significance to the steps necessary for promoting formation of atmosphere of peace and positively assessed the implementation of the exchange program for journalists of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Artsakh.
Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Miroslav Lajčák also referred to issues on the Armenian-Slovakian agenda, outlining the steps to be undertaken for full use of the potential to boost cooperation.
The parties also emphasized the necessity of intensification of dialogue on different levels and through reciprocal visits and consultations between the ministries of the respective countries.
