Allocating money for sending judges not liked by the authorities to early pension inadmissible for us: Bright Armenia lawmaker

Bright Armenia faction considers that the bill on sending the Constitutional Court judges to the early pension is aimed at removing old members of the CC and bringing new, reliable members, lawmaker from the faction Ani Samsonyan said at the NA sitting today.

“Allocating money for sending the judges not liked by the authorities to early pension is inadmissible for us. If the CC judges made illegal actions why they are being encouraged, such judges are being sacked and not made elite pensioners. A question raises why the state helps them and allows to leave,” the lawmaker asked.

Samsonyan said that if the authorities want to get rid of CC judges because they are representatives of the former authorities why with the same logic they do not get rid of the prosecutor general.

“As citizen of Armenia I am against sending CC judges to early pension on the account of my taxes,” she said.
