I have never been obsequious in my life: Artsakh presidential candidate Arayik Harutyunyan
Artsakh presidential candidate Arayik Harutyunyan speaking at a news conference today stated that he has never been obsequious in his life.
The remark came after the question whether Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan in an interview meant him while saying that it is inadmissible for Karabakh to have obsequious president who will obey the caprices of Armenia’s prime minister.
“I have never been obsequious in my life. If I knew how to be obsequious, I would have used it in relation with the former authorities. You will better ask the second president who he meant. Let him be more specific,” he said.
“I had normal working relations with the former authorities. I was pleased with our economic cooperation and not pleased with the policy over Artsakh issue. This line clearly existed,” Harutyunyan said, adding that the authorities who will divert from the necessary and right way of Artsakh issue’s resolution will have to step down.
