Armenia’s NA chairman thanks U.S. Senate and Congress representatives on behalf of 3 NA factions for the adoption of the Armenian Genocide resolutions
Armenia’s National Assembly chairman Ararat Mirzoyan welcomed all the colleagues of the U.S. Senate as well as U.S. House of Representatives for unanimous adoption of Resolutions 150 and 296 respectively.
Speaking from the NA platform, Mirzoyan particularly outlined Senators Menendez, Cruz and congressmen Schiff and all the other friends of Armenia in the two chambers of the Congress for the initiation and adoption of the resolutions.
Mirzoyan also thanked the Armenian Cause office and the Armenian Assembly of America who, he said, throughout many years did not spare efforts to reach this important event.
“As NA chairman I want to stress our commitment not to spare efforts for reaching the recognition of the Armenian Genocide and fair compensation. As heirs of the people who saw genocide, we are committed to be the pioneers in prevention of crimes against humanity not to register such shameless pages in the peoples' history ever,” the NA chairman said.
