Second president's son Levon Kocharyan says they are ready to fight till restoration of the truth

Armenia’s second president Robert Kocharyan has no health issues, son Levon Kocharyan told the reporters today, referring to father’s health issues.

“There was a need of certain post-surgical actions, nothing serious,” he said.

Kocharyan is at Izmirlyan medical center.

Levon Kocharyan also said he was unaware of the intention of lawyer Hayk Alumyan to conduct part of the court hearing behind closed doors.

He said the incumbent authorities have clearly dictated their wish over this case.

“All know it. We also have judge Davit Grigoryan’s example. I think there is no more pressure than it,” Kocharyan said.

As to whether Robert Kocharyan will welcome the New Year in prison, Levon Kocharyan said, “It is a fight, we are in fight. We understand that the authorities dictate their will and part of the judicial system obeys them. We are ready for fight, we will continue till the end until restoration of justice,” Kocharyan said.
