Court hearing of Armen Muradyan’s lawsuit against healthcare minister Arsen Torosyan kicks off
The court hearing of the lawsuit submitted by the rector of the Yerevan Medical University Armen Muradyan against healthcare minister Arsen Torosyan kicked off chaired by the judge Grigory Vardanyan.
Armen Muradyan demands from Arsen Torosyan to reject the labeling expressions and compensate the harm.
The lawsuit followed Torosyan’s statement after urologist Gevorg Tamamyan interrupted his press conference. In particular, the minister said that the campaign against him is directed by Armen Muradyan.
Neither Muradyan nor Torosyan attended the court hearing.
Before the trial launched judge asked whether the parties do not object videotaping the hearing. Muradyan’s representatives did not object, while Torosyan’s representatives objected. The court did not allow the hearing to be videotaped.
