State Revenue Committee does not conduct targeted audit: SRC vice-chairman
Vice-chairman of State Revenue Committee Edward Hovhannisyan excludes targeted audit in enterprises.
“There is certain order of audit and we cannot initiate audit at a company at any moment. For it we need to have corresponding legislative demands and only then we may carry out audit,” the deputy head of the SRC said, responding to the statement of the Prosperous Armenia Party leader Gagik Tsarukyan that the audit is being implemented only in the companies belonging to him.
Speaking to reporters earlier, PAP leader said that today audit is being conducted only in his companies. He said this tendency existed both during ruling of Serzh Sargsyan as well.
“I tell them do it, but you know one must have the sense of measure. Is Tsarukyan the only owner in this country? What has changed after revolution? Again they should check Tsarukyan, let them do it,” PAP leader told the reporters.
Responding to this statement Hovhannisyan said that if there are other entrepreneurs having numerous businesses and they are big tax payers, audit is being conducted more often.
