2019 was year of lost opportunities and formation of new threats: ARF-D representative

In 2019 the Armenian authorities not only failed to strengthen our statehood but formed new threats, member of the ARF-D Supreme Body Artsvik Minasyan said at Voskanapat think tank’s conference today.

“The 2019 was the year of lost opportunities and formation of new threats,” Minasyan said, adding that at least in 7 directions the strengthening of the statehood failed and new threats were formed.

The ARF-D representative said the first three blows were to the foreign relations, Artsakh talks and Armenian army.

Minasyan also stressed the growth of the hate speech, new targets of the Armenian authorities who the hate speech is being addressed to.

“The formation of atmosphere of intolerance, the hate speech, the propaganda have become common regular thing in Armenia. Almost every day we are facing hundreds and thousands offensive words which testify that today the authorities are searching new targets, or the so-called new enemies for the people not to ask them why you have not done what you have promised. Unfortunately people are not asking these questions as they are always being demonstrated new enemies,” Minasyan said.
