Document aimed at restoring Armenia’s role at CSTO worked out: Hrant Melik-Shahnazaryan
Head of Voskanapat think tank, political analyst Hrant Melik-Shahnazaryan stated today at the conference that a document has been worked out on how to restore Armenia’s authority at the CSTO, create bridges of trust and restore the country’s role in the establishment.
He stressed that the document has been sent to experts and mass media for them to get familiarized with its content.
Melik-Shahnazaryan said the necessity of this document appeared after the arrest of former Secretary General of the CSTO Yuri Khachaturov following the revolution in Armenia.
“After the new authorities of Armenia decided to arrest the Secretary General of the CSTO Yuri Khachaturov, the projects that were to be carried out for the next three years were interrupted in the first year of their launch,” he said.
