Talks circulating about not inviting Henrikh Mkhitaryan to national team: Mkhitaryan’s mother

Mother of Armenia’s renown football player Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Marina Tashchyan stated that talks were circulating about not inviting Henrikh Mkhitaryan to the national team.

Earlier PM’s consultant Mesrop Arakelyan wrote on Facebook about the necessity of sharp change of the atmosphere in the national team, even change the team’s captain.

“If the AFF is really AFF they must shame this person,” Mkhitaryan’s mother said.

Tashchyan said she considered Arthur Vanetsyan’s resignation from the post of the AFF chairman inexpedient.

Asked whether she is not afraid that her statements will harm Henrikh Mkhitaryan and be used against him, Marina Tashchyan said, “Let then do it. It will harm only them. If they find that Henrikh must not be invited to the team, let them not do it. Such talks were circulating.”
