Upcoming war to be much graver than in 2016: Giro Manoyan
The current authorities do not have either strategy or concept of settlement of the Artsakh issue saying different things at different moments, head of the ARF-D Bureau Armenian Cause and Political Affairs Office Giro Manoyan stated at the Voskanapat think tank’s conference on Monday.
“The official Yerevan stresses about the necessity of Artsakh’s participation in the talks while ahead of the meeting in Bratsilava recently the same prime minister stated at the NA about no difference of viewpoints over Karabakh conflict settlement existing between the authorities of Armenia and Artsakh, with them being absolutely identical,” Manoyan said, adding that it was stated ahead of the meeting which was to discuss the issue of Artsakh’s participation at the talks.
“Till this moment the logic of the negotiations was that the package solution may be stage by stage. On the other hand, the absence of strategy may put us in danger. I think the upcoming war will be much graver than the one in 2016 as Azerbaijan has prepared for it. The war is unavoidable. We must always be ready for it,” the speaker said.
