Armenia stays Russia’s important and reliable partner: Russian ambassador

This year has been marked with the intensive development of bilateral relations, Russian ambassador to Armenia Sergey Koprirkin stated today at the yearend press conference.

He said a number of important visits have been made in 2019, like the visit of Russian president and prime minister as well as a number of ministers to Armenia.

“It shows that we have what to discuss, our relations are developing in different sectors, we are united with a number of important common interests. There is political will from both sides to keep and bring our partnership relations on a new level,” the ambassador said.

Kopirkin also stressed that Russia highly assesses Armenia’s presidency in the EAEU.

“We highly assess our relations in international establishments as well,” the ambassador said, noting that the results of voting over the key issues for Russia show that Armenia stays its important and reliable partner.
