President of YSU Student’s Council released, describes police’s actions offensive
President of Yerevan State University’s Student’s Council Davit Apoyan has been released from police department.
Speaking to reporters, Apoyan described what happened to him as “offensive behavior.”
“President of Yerevan State University’s Student’s Council should not have been taken to the police department like this, it was an offensive behavior, especially in case when I say I will come. It is just ridiculous, they call me because I am President of Yerevan State University’s Student’s Counci. Does it mean that I must be summoned as a witness, if I have any relation to the sector,” he said, adding that he will appeal the lawfulness of bringing him to police department.
Apoyan was taken to police department in the sidelines of shooting case in Yerevan on December 20, in the yard of the YSU.
