Armenian side has position privileges in all borders; Artak Davtyan
Armenian side has position privileges in all borders, head of the Chief of Staff of Armenia’s Armed Forces Artak Davtyan told the reporters today, speaking about the privileges of the Armenian side in Nakhijevan sector.
“There are places where the adversary has dominating position on height, there are places we have. To speak in quantities, Armenia has 30-40% more dominating position. In case of Nakhijevan we periodically hear some speculations. As of the moment, there are no essential changes. During the past 2-3 months we had some changes regarding the improvement of positions. These are though local improvements,” Davtyan said, adding that huge work has been undertaken to strengthen the basis.
Davtyan said Azerbaijan is exerting enough efforts with Turkey to strengthen the army in Nakhijevan.
The military official also stressed that the Armenian side undertakes steps not to allow the adversary have military privileges.
