CC judge Arevik Petrosyan not to use early retirement opportunities
Judge of the Constitutional Court of Armenia Arevik Petrosyan told the reporters today that she will not use the opportunity of going to early pension.
“I have filled each page of my biography with honor and highest responsibility of having my share in the strengthening of the state and I am proud of every page of my biography,” she said, adding that she will not use the opportunity and will be loyal to the CC judge’s oath – be independent, unbiased and ensure rule of the Constitution.
Asked about her opinion over the claims about the crisis in the CC, the judge said that the crisis may be created only in case the CC fails to carry out its works while the court is implementing its activities normally.
As to whether elected CC judge Vahe Grigoryan participates in the works, Petrosyan said she sees Grigoryan only in the corridors entering this or that room.
“He is not participating in the working sessions. I do not know whether he is in the CC building or not as of the moment. We expressed readiness to listen to him, his remarks. He stated from the NA chair that he is ready to share observations with all the judges of the CC but he did not initiate such initiative for example with me. I do not know the reasons, you may ask him about them,” the CC judge said.
