Hrayr Tovmasyan refused to give testimonies
Chairman of Armenia’s Constitutional Court Hrayr Tovmasyan refused to give testimonies.
“It is not a secret for anyone that during the past 6-7 months the Constitutional Court worked under unprecedented pressures. These pressures were accompanied not only with bad words, not only with warning but there were calls of violence and their manifestations. But during this period the Constitutional Court, to the glory and honor of all the judges, worked without any impediments and adopted decisions which will be a breakthrough for the future of our legal system,” Tovmasyan told the reporters after interrogation today.
He said many do not know the CC judges well.
“They are strong, patriotic people, they are devotees. If in peaceful conditions you are searching for heroes, these heroes are working in this building,” Tovmasyan said.
He also said that he will continue his activity and that he gave signature on not leaving the country.
