Iran’s attack not to remain without powerful response: expert

The United States will not let Iran’s attack on its military bases in Iraq without response, expert in Azerbaijani affairs Grigory Ayvazyan told the reporters today.

“Iran attacked the U.S. bases in Iraq, this will follow a powerful response by the U.S. military and if this conflict focuses on military clashes Iran’s fate will be worse than Iraq’s,” Ayvazyan said.

The expert said Azerbaijan and Israel are doing their best for the escalation of the U.S.-Iranian conflict for them to get rid of Iran with the hands of the USA.

“If the developments follow this way, Armenia will face very harsh times, full of dangers. Israel and the USA are viewing Azerbaijan as their base in its fight against Iran,” he said, adding that the conflict is beneficial for Azerbaijan as it hopes to occupy the northern Iran.

“This may follow the escalation of the situation in Karabakh. Azerbaijan will try to benefit something,” he said.
