Armenia’s government not to overcome poverty of person laying on sofa: Armenia’s PM urges people to work
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred at the cabinet sitting today to the formula the government has for changing people's life for better.
“People coming to Armenia are the customers of small and medium-sized business. These people come not to live in 5 star hotels and eat in the most expensive restaurants but are coming to walk, to hike, to see rivers, animals. We have relieved micro-business from taxes from January 1,” the PM stressed.
Pashinyan stressed that for the citizen of Armenia the work is the way to overcome poverty.
“We have created satisfactory field and will demand certain standards,” the head of the executive power said.
Pashinyan stressed that a person who does not work cannot live good.
“So, our issue is to create all the possible conditions for work. I repeat again, the government is not going to overcome the poverty of a person laying on a sofa. This person must at least take the government’s hand and get up from the sofa,” the PM said.
He also stressed that quite big economic growth is expected this year.
“In 2020 our economic growth must be better than it was in 2019,” Pashinyan said.
