Former deputy minister’s lawyer submits petition to interrogate education minister Arayik Harutyunyan
The lawyer of former deputy education, science, culture and sports minister Gevorg Loretsyan submitted a petition for interrogation of minister Arayik Harutyunyan.
“With this we are trying to prove that before the arrest Gevorg Loretsyan applied for resignation. This circumstance will play an essential role in the criminal case,” lawyer Levon Sahakyan said.
The lawyer said he cannot unveil any other details but clarified that the petition was submitted before the New Year holidays but till now no response was received.
Lorestyan was arrested on December 4 accused of taking bribe.
