Armenia’s Justice Minister, U.S. Ambassador discuss anti-corruption reforms in Armenia
Armenia’s Justice Minister Rustam Badasyan hosted today delegation led by U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy.
The minister thanked the ambassador for the assistance and effective cooperation during the past year, voicing conviction that the partnership will boost even more in 2020.
During the meeting Badasyan briefed to the guests on anti-corruption processes and reforms in the police system.
The parties discussed the opportunities of cooperation in the mentioned processes.
The U.S. ambassador highly valued the opportunity of meeting with the minister and getting familiarized with the agenda of the reforms designed by the Armenian government, stressing that the U.S. government is happy for the opportunity to assist Armenia in implementation of reforms in police system and in formation of new anti-corruption bodies.
