People must be motivated to work: Armenia’s PM
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan referred at the cabinet sitting today to the social system, noting that it does not motivate people to work.
The head of the government said discussions are being held related to the system.
“In the initial phase we have specified the concept approaches, our future steps,” he said, stressing that other structures must also be engaged in the works on finalizing the formation of the system.
“We have registered that in Armenia people with disabilities, not able to work and care their needs must get full social assistance. At the same time we must encourage those able to work, motivate them,” he said.
Pashinyan noted that the proposed system is complicated, initial and is yet to be discussed.
The head of the government attached significance to public discussions, adding that the people must move in parallel with them.
Labor and Social Affairs Minister Zaruhi Batoyan said that they have disseminated the results of yesterday’s discussions.
“The discussions with specialized and non-specialized circles must continue in the development phase,” she said.
