Georgi Kutoyan was wounded in the temple

The complex examination will reveal what happened, Head of the General Department of Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Investigative Committee of Armenia Artur Melikyan told reporters today, referring to the death circumstances of former director of the National Security Service.

“A number of examinations were carried out. The footage from cameras has been seized. Georgi Kutoyan received wound to his temple. Tomorrow the experts will give more specified answer about body injuries,” he said.

Melikyan also said that the testimonies cannot be unveiled. As to the existence of empty bottle of brandy near Kutoyan, Melikyan said the experts will reveal whether there was alcohol in his blood or not.

“We do not have information whether anyone heard gun shots. One wound to temple has been registered. No wound has been fixed in jaw. Currently a lot of actions are taking place,” Melikyan said.

He said tomorrow neighbors will be interrogated and new circumstances may be revealed. At the same time he convinced that in case of any revelation they will immediately inform about it.

Melikyan also said that the CC chairman who arrived on the scene asked to allow him enter the site, but the request was rejected.
