Two earthquakes of 4-5 and 3 magnitudes registered 10 km of Armenia’s Ashotsk community
Earthquake of 3,6 magnitude has been recorded on January 18 at 5.28am local time 10 km south-east from Armenia’s Ashotsk community by Seismic Protection Service of Armenia’s Emergency Situations Ministry.
In the epicenter the strength of the quake reached 4-5 magnitude.
The quakes were registered in Spitak town of Armenia’s Lori province, Hartagyugh and Shirakamut settlements, in Gyumri town as well as in Jajur and Ashotsk communities.
Another earthquake of 2,4 magnitude has been registered at 8.20am local time 19 km south-west of Ashotsk community. In the epicenter the strength of the earthquake reached 3 magnitude.
The quakes were felt in Gyumri town and Dzorashen community.
