Slaughterhouse system to definitely be applied: Armenia’s PM

 Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan speaking at the Government-NA Q&A today stated that the system of slaughterhouses must definitely be applied in Armenia.

“It does not only relate to health issues but is the issue of the country’s standard credit. Our dear compatriots who are complaining against it have justified arguments and one of them is that we do not have enough slaughterhouses,” Pashinyan said.

He also stressed that a consultation was convened today and instructions have been given according to which by February 6 the government will revise all the ways for creating best conditions for building slaughterhouses.

“Till July 1 the situation will be the same with the exception of the suppliers of Yerevan supermarkets and restaurants, with the condition that on July 2 the issue will be closed,” the head of the government said.
