Edmon Marukyan offers his help to NA chairman to ensure normal working process in the parliament

Bright Armenia faction head Edmon Marukyan referred at the parliament session today to the failure of the NA to adopt the membership of the ad hoc investigative committee to study corruption risks in Yerevan community.

“It appears that the committee set with the rule of law does not have membership and if a parliamentary body is not acting it means that a body at the NA is not acting. If it is not acting, it means that the parliament’s chairman fails to improve the natural working pace in the NA. What is the reason Mr Mirzoyan? How can we help you to ensure the natural activity of the parliament?” Marukyan said.

In response Mirzoyan said, “Dear Mr Marukyan, I do not need your help. As a lawyer you should have understood that the NA chairman did everything within his authorities in this issue.”

Mirzoyan added that each deputy is free in the voting.

“To accuse the NA chairman for result of voting means not to understand the logic of the Constitution well enough,” Mirzoyan said.
