There is no oligarchy in Armenia: Armenia’s PM
In January-September 2019 1,000 big tax payers declared 764,5 billion AMD taxes which is 13% more (90,7 billion AMD) as compared with the same span of 2018, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said today at a press conference presenting 100 facts about new Armenia.
He said that as compared with January-September 2017 the amount of paid taxes made 185,5 billion AMD or 32%.
“This is about whether we have oligarchy or not. If a person pays taxes he is not oligarch. It means he is not privileged. Oligarchy means the authority of a small group of people. There is no such thing in Armenia. In Armenia we have authority of many on behalf of the people of Armenia,” Pashinyan said.
