CC Chairman Hrayr Tovmasyan has no final decision on lawsuit, to consult with lawyers

Armenia’s CC chairman Hrayr Tovmasyan said he was emotional while speaking about the lawsuit against PM Pashinyan.

“Maybe I was emotional at the moment while speaking about applying to court, but I think everything has become clear for the public and all received answers to the question,” Tovmasyan said at Pressing TV program.

Asked whether he will apply or not, Tovmasyan said he has not made the final decision yet and will consult with his lawyers’ team.

“But it is not the thing I prioritize. For me the important thing is dignity, my name, my authority. It has always been important to me irrespective of the position I had. “Slander” and “what it means to be a man” are incompatible. I do not like this word,” he said.

Earlier Tovmasyan’s lawyer Amram Makinyan wrote on Facebook that after reading PM’s “disproportionate blow” CC chairman requested to prepare lawsuit.
