Armenian, Azerbaijani FMs discussed proposals put forward in 2019: Abdullayeva

The Geneva negotiations between Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Affairs Ministers Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Elmar Mammadyarov were the most intensive in the recent years, official representative of the Azerbaijan’s Foreign Affairs Ministry Leyla Abdullayeva told Russian RIA Novosti.

“The negotiations between Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Affairs Ministers Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Elmar Mammadyarov were the most intensive in the recent years. The parties discussed the agenda presented by the co-chairs. Proposals have been discussed put forward in 2019, in particular, preparations of two peoples to peace, humanitarian exchange, principles and elements forming the basis of the conflict settlement, and the principles and provisions of Helsinki Final Act in particular and finally the intensification of the peace process,” Abdullayeva said.
