Armenia’s PM hopes Russia will assist in preservation of economic dynamics in Armenia
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed hope that Russia will support Armenia in preservation of the existing dynamics of economic development.
“The volume of reciprocal trade turnover in 2019 reaches to $2 billion. In 2020 the dynamics will continue. In 2019 we succeeded to create a good economic dynamics in Armenia. The economic growth in 2019 was almost 8%. I hope your government will support the existing economic dynamics in Armenia,” Pashinyan said at the meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in Almaty.
Pashinyan stated that Armenia and Russia always had and will always have good relations.
“We always have opportunity to bring our relation on a new level. I am sure that in cooperation with you we will manage to do it,” he said.
In his turn Mishustin said that Russia and Armenia are tied with allied relations.
“The new staff of the Russian government is ready to continue the constructive relations and the working contacts with our Armenian colleagues. It is necessary to foster the positive tendency of the growth of the trade turnover and search for new opportunities and cooperation directions,” the Russian PM said.
