Artsakh issue turned into international conflict long ago: political analyst
The Karabakh issue has turned into an international conflict already long ago, political analyst Alen Ghevondyan said during Aysor.am’s At First Glance program.
“The impulses of foreign pressure have periodically been registered. They are not newly formed. Many think that one of the acting vital influence circles in Karabakh issue is Russia due to certain conjunctures in the south. Some think, the process is being activated by the United States, which is trying to initiate some test processes, of course after discussing them with the other partners – France and Russia,” he said, adding that they are trying to find some ways, hoping for some small windows to open.
The political analyst noted that Artsakh issue may be viewed in local and wider contexts.
“In local regard, we must find some edges with the Azerbaijanis and in wider these edges must be legitimate under the policy of bigger players,” he said.
