Past: Ararat Mirzoyan urges CC judge Felix Tokhyan write resignation application, promises good jobs for sons
The pressures on Constitutional Court judges continue persistently. Past paper’s sources report that the representatives of the authorities are tasked to find ways to meet with the CC judges and conduct “explanatory conversations.”
The sources of the paper claim that last week a meeting took place between NA chairman Ararat Mirzoyan and judge of the Constitutional Court Felix Tokhyan.
According to the paper’s sources, Mirzoyan has “friendly” urged the CC judge to write an application and make use of the opportunity given by the law on early retirement, promising to find highly-paid jobs to his sons.
The same source said Tokhyan’s brother Marat Tokhyan is member of My Step faction and he mediated the meeting between Mirzoyan and the CC judge.
The paper tried to clarify the information from the NA and phoned the NA chairman’s assistant Vahan Kostanyan who said that he is not aware of any such meeting.
The paper’s sources claim that there were other cases of pressures and “explanatory works” with the CC judges.
