No one ever seen such example of overthrow of constitutional order by NA: Amram Makinyan

Member of CC chairman Hrayr Tovmasyan’s legal team Amram Makinyan wrote that two days ago he noted that the parliamentary majority would not follow the urges from Venice and Strasburg and would continue the implementation of the “two-step simple combination,” Makinyan wrote on Facebook today.

“And here it is, not completing the first step of the “two-step simple combination,” the parliamentary majority put into circulation the bill on constitutional amendments on the basis of which one political force may unanimously change the Constitution in Armenia and suspend the activity of the Constitutional Court,” Makinyan wrote, adding that every person with legal education or having an average legal awareness realizes the negative consequences of My Step faction’s steps on the state.

“P.S. I address my question to my lawyer colleagues – dear ones, have you ever read in any text-book or have you ever seen such a bright example of overthrow of the constitutional order by the NA,” he wrote.
