Investigative group set at the NSS to study separated part of October 27 case
An investigatory group has been set at the National Security Service over the separated part of the October 27 case, public relations department of Prosecutor’s General Office told Aysor.am.
The successor of October 27 victim Anahit Bakhshyan filed a motion with the request to set investigative group on separated part of the case.
Bakhshyan also motioned to transfer the criminal case from the NSS to SIS but the prosecutor’s office rejected the motion.
“They explained the rejection with the circumstance that the decision to hand the criminal proceeding to the NSS investigative department fully corresponds to the rules of investigation and the process of recusal has been explained. According to it, recusal may be declared for the investigator and not the investigative body,” Prosecutor General’s office explained.
