Vanetsyan says dangers he noticed while in post gradually coming forth

All those able to see few steps ahead and calculate understand very well what is going on in our country, former director of the National Security Service Artur Vanetsyan told the representatives of printed mass media.

“To keep silence and not to speak about it would have been very wrong especially by a person who hold the post of the director of the NSS for a year and half and worked in the NSS for the past 20 years,” he said.

Vanetsyan said that he had predicted the developments taking place in Armenia and stressed that they would have unfavorable consequences for the country.

“The dangers I have seen during that period are gradually coming forth. As an example I can bring the recent tough assessments of the European establishments given to Armenia. It is a very big issue for us in regard to our security as it relates to the international reputation of our country,” he said.
