Cold atmosphere front to penetrate into Armenia’s territory from February 8; storm, snowfall are expected
Head of Armenia’s Meteorological Center Gagik Sirunyan wrote on Facebook about the penetration of cold atmosphere front into the territory of Armenia that will result in temperature decline from February 8 afternoon.
“Today and tomorrow till the afternoon snowfall will be registered only in mountainous region, starting from evening hours of February 8 till the morning of February 9 snowfall will be registered in the whole territory of the republic, in separate sectors it will be rather intensive,” Surenyan wrote.
He said storm and low visibility will be registered in mountainous regions and due to decline of the temperature the roads there will be icy.
He stressed that the air temperature will gradually reduce from February 8 to 11 by 18-20 degrees on Celsius.
