Government evades answering whether Armenia’s PM learnt that Vahe Grigoryan is getting millions for doing nothing
Aysor.am has applied to the Government of Armenia with the request to clarify whether Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has learnt that CC judge Vahe Grigoryan, elected by My Step faction, is not implementing the authorities of the judge, is not participating in the sessions while still receiving salaries, bonuses and petrol.
Speaking at Kapan press conference Pashinyan stated that he was not aware that CC judge Vahe Grigoryan is not participating in the CC works.
“If there is such a thing, I am concerned with it of course,” Pashinyan said.
Asked what steps Pashinyan is planning to undertake after learning about it, Pashinyan said, “I don’t know, I hear such thing for the first time, I will inquire about it.”
Aysor.am sent an inquiry to find out whether Pashinyan learnt about Grigoryan’s behavior or not if to take into consideration that the deputies of the ruling parliamentary majority and personally the PM voice criticism and offensive assessments in the address of the CC chairman and 6 judges but do not refer to the behavior of judge Vahe Grigoryan.
The government representative though tried to bypass the topic, providing unclear answer, not saying anything.
“I inform that the information mentioned in your inquiry does not correspond to reality, except the point relating to the salary,” the response provided to Aysor.am said.
The evasive response does not make it clear what information “does not correspond to reality” as it is an officially confirmed fact that CC judge Vahe Grigoryan is not implementing his duties from the moment of being elected CC judge but instead receives big sums on the account of tax payers.
The media many times referred to it and it is hard to imagine that active user of social networks Pashinyan is not aware of it. Even if so, even if he was not aware, he should have already been informed after his promise to inquire about it.
Earlier today Hraparak.am wrote that it has revealed that yesterday’s speech of the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at the NA was written by the CC judge Vahe Grigoryan.
The media’s source says that Pashinyan just added phrases peculiar to him to the text written by Grigoryan.
