600 volumes contain enough materials for revealing March 1 murders: Robert Kocharyan
The court hearing of the criminal case involving Armenia’s second president Roebrt Kocharyan and other former high ranking officials continues.
Speaking at the hearing Kocharyan said that the whole criminal case contains just two materials, two letters from the National Security Service.
“Can it be possible to believe that the strongest structure of that time had no attitude, no material over March 1 developments,” Kocharyan said.
Kocharyan stressed that they have many times applied for receiving the whole volume of the materials.
The second president also said that during his tenure as president, the NSS director weekly briefed him on everything.
Referring to WikiLeaks publications, Kocharyan said, “I have an impression that the U.S. Embassy has more information about our domestic political developments than our National Security Service.”
The second president also expressed doubt that the 600 volumes contain enough materials for revealing the ten murders of March 1, 2008.
“The refusal to provide full materials raises sensible doubts,” he said.
Applying to the judge Anna Danibekyan, the former president said that each voiced argument is enough to close the case.
“I understand that you have appeared in rather complicated situation if to consider the fate of judge Davit Grigoryan,” Kocharyan said.
