Bright Armenia faction head states about receiving concrete threats

Politician publicly states about receiving threats while no law enforcement body responds to it, head of Bright Armenia faction Edmon Marukyan told the reporters today.

“Hatred is being generated in the country. I and my party mates are getting letters, I am speaking of concrete dirty threats. I have written about it and no law enforcement body representative established contact with me to understand what I am talking about, zero response from law enforcement bodies. It appears that it is regular because the hatred is being generated by the authorities so why they should respond to it,” Marukyan said, adding that he has applied to the prosecutor general.

Marukyan also said an audit is being conducted at Vanadzor Municipality aimed at clarifying who of the employees are from the Bright Armenia party.

“It is a clear order to clarify how much employees at Vanadzor institutions are from Bright Armenia party,” he said.
