Sacred place does not remain empty: Alen Simonyan on formation of “No” camp
Vice speaker of Armenia’s parliament Alen Simonyan does not agree with the claims that constitutional amendments are aimed at getting rid of current staff of the Constitutional Court.
“There is no such thing. We are being accused and will be accused of all possible things. They can even accuse us of cannibalism only to impede the process,” Simonyan told the reporters today.
Referring to the statements of the opposition about not joining the “No” camp, Simonyan said that all the people stating that they will not form “No” camp, realize that the referendum will have positive outcome.
As to how they will organize their campaign in case of not having opposite camp, Simonyan said the law has regulations for such cases.
Nevertheless he expressed conviction that “No” camp will be formed.
“I am sure it will be formed as “sacred place” does not remain empty,” Simonyan said.
