Constitutional referendum not to affect country’s economy: Armenia’s PM
Constitutional referendum will not affect the country’s economy, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the NA today.
“The experience of 2018 showed that the main factor influencing the Armenian economy is the trust of the Armenian citizens over the future. I want to convince you that during the campaign the trust of the Armenian citizens toward the future will strengthen more which means that the economic activity will grow more. I am convinced that the campaign will not have any negative impact on the economy but will have an activating result,” Pashinyan said.
He said the citizens living abroad are planning to come to Armenia to participating in the voting.
“So, we are creating a new type of tourism named family tourism,” Pashinyan said.
The PM was hinted from the hall that this kind of tourism is not a novelty, Pashinyan said, “What a pity!”
He also urged all to come to Armenia, noting that now it is possible to acquire tickets with low prices.
